Queen Tuna Park

Laurence and I are both missing the water so seeing as we are in a coastal city we thought it about time we sought out the sea! There are a few beaches near town but most of the coast is industry. The 'holiday' type beaches would be about half an hour away. On the way home from work we stopped at Queen Tuna Park which is a public beach near the centre of town. It was great to be on a beach and see the sea! There were loads of kids in the water :-) we didn't stay long as we weren't prepared and it was a scorcher today. It's probably not the kind of beach we would sunbathe on but it would be nice for a picnic.
