First scooter trip

Took a trip on the scooter today to the school to get my work permit forms signed and to the mall (of course!) It went very well. I prayed a lot lol. The roads are a bit mad but Laurence did really well. It's great being able to get about without having to rely on tricycles.

When we first arrived here I was surprised to hear Christmas songs in the malls (beginning Sept.!). Now all the shops are full of decorations and Christmas trees. Not only does last Christmas only few like yesterday but we're in blazing sunshine!....disorientating! Looking forward to experiencing Christmas here though as apparently it's a really big deal.
