San Isidro

I took some snaps this afternoon while we were out on the bike around our barangay, San Isidro.  I love being out on the bike or in the car as there are so many interesting things to see. I managed to capture a small fraction of them today but will continue to post photos like this of life in the barangay.

Where we live

Traditional houses

Jeepney

Market place

Tricycles

Where we buy coconuts!

The University

A man selling inflatable penguins!

There are many church buildings like this in Mindanao.  The church is Iglesia ni Cristo (Tagalog for Church of Christ).  It's the largest entirely indigenous Christian church in the Philippines  They are all exactly the same design but different pastel colours and sizes. I think they have a 'Disney' look about them.

Little banana stall, it's usually tiny kids manning it!
