Typhoon

It's been raining all day today but at about 10.30am the rain started getting heavier and heavier.  By 12 noon, the school was flooded and although we were undercover outside everyone was gradually getting very wet!  Thankfully, before it got too bad we were able to finish off the UN Day celebrations.  I thought that the weather was due to it still being the rainy season but the head teacher said it's rarely this bad and it's more like a typhoon!  The raining seems to have stopped for now thankfully as when we were driving home from the school some of the communities of houses were waist deep in water!  It was a particularly chilly 25 degrees celcius also! :-D
